Grok in Tesla: requirements
Check these four things before troubleshooting. Last verified 2026-10-15.
Hardware
- AMD Ryzen infotainment processor (most Teslas built from late 2021 onward). Check Controls > Software > Additional Vehicle Information.
- Models: Model 3, Model Y, new Model S and Model X (2021+), Cybertruck.
- Intel Atom cars do not get Grok vehicle commands.

- Connectors: any signed-in Grok account.
- Grok Bot: signed-in Grok account with SuperGrok (launched on SuperGrok Heavy first).
Regions & language
- Launched in the US (2025.26).
- Later: Canada, Australia, New Zealand, select European and Asian countries.
- 2026.26: wider Europe plus India, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand.
- 2026.32.100: Israel, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Morocco, Jordan (features vary by country).
- "Hey Grok" is trained on American English.
